Left the Virginian at 6, had breakfast, it was 46 degrees, I started out with all of my cold weather gear; long bike bibs, jacket, full gloves. Lost the pants 5 miles out after climbing a couple of hills. Other than stopping to remove pants and pump up Dan’s rear tire the fist stop that we made was Rock River at the gas station. The first picture is looking back at Rock River, the rock formations and the vegatation are changing. It appears that there is more rain in this area as everything is greener than the west side of the state.
The next stop was Bosler which does not have any open business and it looks like that has been true for quit some time. The wind was out of the south west again and was for the most part behind us or a crosswind. The wind speed grew as the day progressed which appears to be normal for Wyoming.
About 5 miles out of Laramie a biker caught up with us. Dan conversed with her. Coming into town she brought us downtown to find a place that serves Lasange, they where closed, we then asked about a bike store, it too was closed. She then biked with us to get us heading in the correct direction to the Fairfield where we will be spending the night. We would like to thank Sue for giving us a warm bikers welcome to Laramie!
Rode 59 miles with a couple of extra miles around downtown Laramie.

Hi Wayne:
Decided to map your route on Bikely…. you can even toggle on the elevation portion to see how much you worked.
