Started riding paved railroad trail that turned into gravel trail outside of town. Eventually we rode around Echo resevoir and on the north end started to ride I80. None of the exits had services untill Evanston. At Wahsatch, UT we sat under an overpass and ate an apple. Made it in by 10:30 and are staying at a Super 8. Took a shower and cleaned all of my bike clothing, hope it dries before tomorrow morning. Walked downtown to the visitor center to pick up a map of Wyoming. Split a large order of fried at a local hamberger shop.
Evanston is 1172 feet higher than Coalville. Rode 40 miles, starting out with jackets as the temp was 50 when we woke up.
We have been told that tomorrow we will be riding 2 or 3 passes.
